| Tired of crying, tired of trying Tired of lying when inside I'm dying Tired of never being enough Tired of hanging on when things are tough Tired of pretending I'm okay when I'm not Tired of being the one everyone forgot Tired of feeling like things never change Tired of reaching for things out of my range Tired of waiting for the rainy days to end Tired of dreading what tomorrow will send But just when I think that I have no choice It's then that I hear that still small voice I know you're tired but you're not alone I'm here for you always and your name is known.

| If things are out of sorts and you feel without a prayer Remember that there is Someone who promises to be there
When times are tough or you feel weak He's the One you need to seek
He'll pull you close and hold you tight And keep you through the darkest night
If life throws you curves and it becomes hard to stand He'll reach out and take your hand
It won't always be easy, but He'll lead the way and help you face whatever comes each day
So keep pressing on no matter how bad things may seem 'Cause through eternity's eyes this is just a fleeting dream. | | |

| It's been over two years since I last cut myself and tonight I gave in. I should feel guilty, or embarassed, or something but all I feel is better. I was so tired and frustrated and just plain annoyed with the world and I couldn't handle it anymore. I am tired now, both from the crying and the cutting, so I will probably sleep tonight... | | |
| As I get older I am starting to realize that the changing of the seasons from Summer to Fall always leaves me feeling somewhat pensive and reflective. It's not a bad feeling and it's rather fitting. Fall, to me, is a time of change. It is the passing of the old in order to make way for the new. Not everything changes, but enough that we notice it. This is kind of a new thought and I haven't completely processed it yet, but I will keep you updated as I do. Speaking of changes, I just started my new job as a nanny and I love it. The kids are a 10 & 11 year old brother and sister. I will keep you posted on how that goes as well. Also, I am starting a new writing project. The working title is "Surviving Solitude: A Girl's Guide to Living Single in a Couple's World." I have a sort of basic idea of how it should read and what points I want to make, but would really value any feedback. Single, married, male, female; doesn't matter. If you have a comment, idea, anecdote, etc. that you think would be relevant to this topic, please don't hesistate to share it.
